The year 2017 stood out for the sheer number of surprise failures of some of the biggest films starring the biggest names in the film industry. At the same time, the box-office was ruled by small-budget films. The evening had some splendid performances by Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh. Sridevi and Varun Dhawan were awarded for best actors. The red carpet of the award show had a perfect blend of glitz and glamour.
Priyanka Chopra chose a pop pink gown by Zuhair Murad and jewellery by Nirav Modi for the occasion. Sridevi chose a traditional silk sari by Sabyasachi. Jacqueline Fernandez went with a statement gown by Jar Sara. Tanishaa Mukerji, Taapsee Pannu and Nidhhi Aggarwal were glittering in amazing outfits of Falguni Shane Peacock. Ranveer Singh arrived in a floral three-piece suit by Anuj Madaan. Alia Bhatt was wearing a cropped gown in ultramarine blue by Atelier Zuhra.
