I know for a fact that Huda Kattan doesn’t sleep. She probably just takes quick power naps and wakes up with an epiphany. How else can you explain her non-stop launches? And let me remind you her brand isn’t affordable. So when she’s out there dropping bomb product after bomb product, we’re out here getting poorer with every launch.

Of course, true to form, she has done it again. We were still reeling over the Melted Shadows – rounds one and two! And I was very recently thinking of getting my hands on the Metallic Power Bullet Lipsticks when, well, she gave us Mattes.

That’s right, Huda Beauty is giving us her matte version of the Power Bullet Lipsticks. And it’s a super pretty collection.

THE MATTE POWER BULLET LIPSTICKS

The Formula

According to Huda Beauty’s blog page, the team spent two years crafting the Matte Power Bullet Lipstick.

The goal? Insane pigmentation, doubled with maximum comfort.

In fact, every single lipstick shade has a different formula to ensure that each one delivers maximum comfort and maximum pigmentation. Therefore, each is as comfortable as it is pigmented.

The bullet lipsticks also contain sweet almond oil, so you get intense color that glides on like a balm without skipping or dragging.

The Shades

The first collection reflects the beauty of the rose. What’s great about it is that there are warm and cool toned lipsticks, so you can get whichever works best for you. (And if you want to carry them all off, that works too!)

The Shape

The diamond shape of the Matte Power Bullet Lipsticks “allows you to get precise application so that you can quickly and easily fill and shape the lips while you’re on the go.”

  • Use the Power Bullet’s pointed tip to contour and line the edges of your lips.
  • Fill lips using the bullet’s flat base, beginning in the center and smoothing outwards to the corners of your mouth.
  • Build up to your desired level of impact.

The Huda Beauty Matte Power Bullet Lipsticks will retail for $25 USD. They launche on March 14th at ShopHudaBeauty.com, Sephora, Harrods, Selfridges, Brown Thomas, Arnotts, and Cultbeauty.co.uk.

A voracious addict of everything beauty, little did I know I would be treading down this path. Started off as a dentist, occasionally dribbling in the arts. Now full time Instagram browser and money spender. They say money doesn't buy happiness. I disagree. They probably didn't know where to shop.
