Charlotte Tilbury is a very busy woman. And she’s keeping us pretty busy too, with all her new launches and sneak peeks. First, she dropped her entire Pillow Talk collection. Next, her Supermodel lipsticks inspired by the 90’s. On the other hand, it seems super models aren’t the only people inspiring Madam Tilbury.
The queen is coming out with a brand new collection, titled, “The Icons Collection.” This range entails an eye shadow palette, aka The ICON, and a bunch of liquid lipsticks, Latex Love. This article, however, is about the Eye Shadow palette.
THE ICON PALETTE
“Since the beginning the time, Icons have shaped history wearing mesmerizing makeup, using it as an armour and a power”.
Charlotte’s inspirations for this palette include Cleopatra, David Bowie, Marilyn Monroe, Naomi Campbell, and further, Salma Hayek.
The packaging pays homage to David Bowie, inspired by the famous face paint he wore during performances. He was certainly known for a brightly coloured lightning strike across his face, and the same is detailed on the palette. In conclusion, talk about ICON elevation!

The shadows can be used wet and dry. However, the formulation of the shadows when wet is different because they instantly turn to cream. Such is the magic of Charlotte Tilbury.
Charlotte says of the ICON palette, “It’s electric star quality in a palette…it’s time to charge up your STAR power!”
Count me in!
