Anyone who knows me, knows I like following the British Royal Family, especially the Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex. Not only do I love their charity work, the insights into their personal life, but most of all, I love their fashion! Back in March, I covered both their looks during Commonwealth Day, and right now, we’re going to take a look at Wimbledon.
Last year, the duchesses attended a match together, and of course, their outfits – we stan. This year, however, they attended separately. Kate Middleton, being a patron of Wimbledon, made an entrance prior to the Duchess of Sussex. Meghan Markle, came to cheer on her friend, Serena Williams.
KATE MIDDLETON, HRH THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE
If you’ve been following, Kate, you’re aware that the duchess’ go-to brand is Alexander McQueen. She sported the same brand on day 2 of Wimbledon, in a graphic white dress with black details. Pairing it with a black belt, and classic sunglasses, the Duchess sat alongside British tennis players Katie Boulter and Anne Keothavong. They cheered on Harriet Dart, a wildcard player from London.
The puff sleeve trend, though – it’s still in.

MEGHAN MARKLE, HRH THE DUCHESS OF SUSSEX
I wasn’t really expecting Markle to make a stop at Wimbledon, but when your friend is playing, you must offer moral support. The other duchess kept it casual in a black tee shirt, white blazer and blue jeans. She accessorized the outfit with her favourite hat, a pair of heels and the cutest thing – a necklace with an ‘A’ for baby Archie. Oh, and you aren’t attending Wimbledon if you’re not sporting glasses.
Meghan’s companions for the match – her friends Genevieve Hills and Lindsay Roth.

It’s pretty evident that the duchesses have an eye for fashion. And irrespective of whether it’s a work engagement, or a casual day of watching people compete in the biggest tennis tournament, their outfits are always a win.
