Delicate and sophisticated is all that you can say for Ridhi Mehra Festive Collection 2018

“Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile, but sometimes your smile is the source of your joy.” Nothing can be more cheerful then enjoy the festive season with your near one and dear ones. The festive season is all about getting new clothes and make yourself happy and gorgeous like never before. Excepting the modernity we have moved towards the contemporary style but for festive season you need to choose something which creates a perfect twist of contemporary style and traditional looks. When it comes to merging the contemporary with the traditional, no one does it quite like Ridhi Mehra. And Ridhi Mehra Festive Collection 2018 stands as proof. The collection is named as Parizah. Just scroll down our gallery and check out some of the most amazing pieces that belong to the collection.

“Delicate and ethereal, Parizah is our collection in a neutral palette this season. Floral and geometric patterns from hand-woven Persian textiles such as carpets are reimagined in delicate detailing with dori work & french knots. Luxurious fabrics such as silk, chanderi, organza and tulle with embellishments create sheer diaphanous magic.” said the designer.

Ridhi follows a minimalist yet effective design philosophy, working with solid colours and floral embroidery. She has brought together western influences to Indian garments, thus creating her signature contemporary Indian wear, such as her part line of embroidered crop tops which was a runway success.

“A Persian Fable – is beautiful and ethereal. Inspired by age-old Persian tales of ancient architecture, gardens of romance, mystical writings, poetry, and of finding paradise on Earth, the legacy of Persian art in all forms – architecture, paintings, ornamentation, handwoven textiles, and more, this collection is a perfect amalgamation of old-world influences and modern silhouettes.” said the designer.
