In an ingenuous twist to the ‘Resting Bitch Face’, entrepreneur Huda Kattan is all geared up to release her newest baby – Resting Boss Face – in the industry. I’ll admit, I was still reeling over in excitement for the Tantour, but it seems like Huda is here for all of my money.
The news of the setting spray dropped early yesterday when Huda Kattan shared a campaign photo of the upcoming launch. Fans were quick to decipher that the launch was a setting spray, only to be confirmed by Trendmood herself.
RESTING BOSS FACE – THE INSPIRATION
On her website, Huda shares the inspo behind the setting spray – Drag Queens. We’re no stranger to the amazing hacks by the queens, and nor is Huda. The makeup skills and the fact they used hairspray to lock in their makeup was the foundation behind Resting Boss Face.
THE CAMPAIGN
The OG Queens Farrah Moan, Shea Couleé and Violet Chachki helped Huda bring her product to life. And of course, they delivered!

THE FORMULA
The setting spray evidently took 3 years to create, and is said to be “unlike anything else.”
The idea was to create something identical to the long-lasting and heavy duty property of a hairspray, without any harmful effects to the skin. Similar to hairspray, resting Boss Face “delivers a layer of ultra-fine mist evenly across the face for a comfortable, matte finish that doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry.”
Huda Beauty even shared a snippet of the spray in use, and I’ll admit – I AM HELLA EXCITED!
