I’ve always had dry skin ever since I can remember. (Confused about yours? Find out your skin type here) And ever since I found out about Hylauronic Acid, I buy almost everything that has it.

Acid? On your skin? Isn’t that bad?

It actually isn’t.

Think of hyaluronic acid like a BIG drink of water for your skin. It is able to hold up to 1,000 times its molecular weight in water. Hyaluronic acid penetrates the skin and binds water to skin cells, infusing all layers of the skin with valuable, rejuvenating moisture.

Hyaluronic Acid helps reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles retaining moisture to the skin, creating a plumping effect. As it fills the skin with moisture, it also tightens the overall complexion.

So when Henaa Hainaa Beauty decided to drop their Hydra Elixir, I KNEW I had to get it. Why? Hyaluronic Acid, that’s why.

HYDRA ELIXIR

Inspired by K-beauty for glass skin with its key ingredient being hyaluronic acid. Its moisture attracting properties, regardless of your skin-type, helps in achieving plump and radiant skin.

Under makeup, it plumps and smoothes everything out and leaves a gorgeous, silky veil on the skin for your makeup application.

MY REVIEW

I love the Hydra Elixir. And 10/10, I’d recommend it to everybody with all types of skin. Because even though the elixir has a bunch of oils, it is in no way, oily.

I like to apply this while doing skin care, or any time my skin is feeling tired. An instant uplifter, it makes your skin look happy.

The Hydra Elixir feels a little tacky post application, but the tackiness disappears after a couple of minutes. Revealing soft, supple skin. The elixir has definitely become a favourite of mine within 2 days of usage.

The cherry on top? It smells absolutely divine.
