Payal Singhal Latest Collaboration is With Desai Foundation
Occasion wear designer Payal Singhal do her bit to the community for years and was keen to partner with a charitable foundation. But she looked for a platform that allowed her to get involved beyond mere monetary support. The best opportunity presented itself last 27 when New York-based Megha Desai attended the festive back show in Mumbai of Singhal. Megha has always been a patron of the brand. Payal Singhal latest collaboration with Desai Foundation cooperation took shape when we met this past year.
The Desai Foundation is focused on empowering kids and women from the US and India in a bid to elevate livelihood and their health. Two trademark PS prints desided to work on various patterns like the anaar and mor print, and the chidiya print. These were the major prints but lotus and other prints were also added to give twist. The foundation has been working on this project since last nine months. The highlight of the institution is the first line of bags, totes, and make-up bags. Collection in these prints that are being created by the women associated with the Desai Foundation’s sewing program.
“We travelled to the vocational centre in Valsad to brief the girls about the job. We describe them that how it would benefit them. In addition to behavior lessons in quality management. Other goods from the main lines featuring both of these prints such as occasion wear, stationery, children wear, as well as a men of Singhal’s line are also part of the cooperation’s roster. A part of the proceeds from the sale of those products from some of the things across the globe.
