Nickyanka Wedding: Couple Look Straight Out Of Fairy Tale
The duo has been shelling out major couple goals ever since they announced their engagement in a traditional Roka ceremony a few months ago. Royal Nickyanka wedding was locked down for the week between November 29 to December 3. The two got married in a royal ceremony at Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur and ever since then, we are finding it really difficult to contain our excitement to get wedding pictures of the couple and finally they are out. The couple has exchanged vows by following both Christian rituals and Hindu rituals. The couple had tied the knot in a Christian ceremony officiated by Nick Jonas’ father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. A picture also shows their massive wedding cake. The royal cake had seven tiers and was 18 feet tall. Custom-made by Ralph Lauren, the 36-year-old bride’s designer gown wasn’t just a couture masterpiece. It also incorporated a slew of important and meaningful touches to pay tribute to the couple’s love and their life together. The designer also designed bridesmaids dresses and tuxes for the groomsmen, as well as outfits for the flower girls, the ring bearer, and the bride and groom’s parents. Priyanka finished off with custom Jimmy Choo shoes.
The couple took to their Instagram and shared little glimpses from their Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony with us and just like us fans are also bowled over by how much fun the festivities of the couple look like. After opting for a bold yellow Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga embroidered with stars and blooms in shades of lime green and deep pink for her mehandi ceremony, and an embellished silver and gold sari by the same designer duo for her sangeet, Chopra went with couturier who has designed the bridal outfits for many Indian celebrities lately Sabyasachi Mukherjee. For the Hindu wedding, the bride looks beautiful in the red lehenga, and the groom is winning our hearts in a sherwani.
Chopra’s wedding outfit was (obviously) custom-made, and it took 3,720 hours and 110 embroiderers from Kolkata to create the hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss and layers of thread work. Nick Jonas and her parents, Ashok and Madhu Chopra, were sewn into the waistband of her skirt in Hindi.

Last night the couple continued their celebrations with a grand wedding reception at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. Priyanka Chopra chose a champagne-hued tulle lehenga by Falguni Shane Peacock. The bride chose a long-sleeved blouse that highlighted the designer duo’s signature beading work. The custom-made lehenga also bore motifs of elephants and birds, reminiscent of her Jodhpur wedding.
The two will be hosting a reception in Mumbai soon for friends from the industry. Buzz is that they will be hosting another party once they reach Los Angelos, where Nick and Priyanka will be settling down.
