Milan Fashion Week 2019 designer collection was pushing all the boundaries to a new level

Among some of the best and most prestigious fashion weeks if London Fashion Week 2019 was the fashion capital known for its hot young things, New York Fashion Week 2019 was all about the new dressing styles for your street look and upcoming Paris Fashion Week is all about heritage couture and history-laden heavyweights, then Milan Fashion Week 2019 will perfectly fit itself, somewhere in the middle of all these. Big giant brands Armani, Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Marco de Vincenzo, No. 21 presented a new perspective of Italian fashion last week.

Roberto Cavalli came up with a unique sense of glamour for a natural-looking catwalk style, using earthy tones to make everything stand out in a classic way. The hair was left slightly tangled and textured to emphasize the natural look.

Marni collection was more about geometric shapes and negative space, which made for an arresting aesthetic. The graphic eyeliner that was presented on the ramp was a big hit which stole the show. Minimal makeup was selected, choosing nude lips and wet-look, slicked-back hairstyle.

Placing fashion on an equal footing with an art performance is a prerogative Miuccia Prada has always asserted. It puts people on the edge of their seats, to correctly perceive what this oracle of fashion will have to say about the state of the world.

It was always fun being part of the Versace gang. Girls in teeny-tiny chain mail or leather dresses were just as like they wanted to go out and dance in ankle-strap sandals. Bella Hadid walked the ramp in her one-shoulder fluoro yellow leather dress which made her look very different.

This brand was celebrating in 65th birthday of this independent brand. Missoni, a brand known for the strength of their knitting machinery and ability to fashion multicoloured magic with zigzag patterns and patchwork techniques.

Designers were pushing boundaries when they debut a new collection on the runway. Designer Giuliano Calza did just that when he sent a few models down the catwalk with prosthetic third breast for his God Can’t Destroy Streetwear Spring 2019 show.

Dolce & Gabbana channelled heritage but modern beauty looks that featured elaborate crowns, matte complexions and the perfect fairytale heroine red lip. Collection also included a touch of metallic shimmer at the eyes which added luminosity to this year style.

Milan Fashion week undoubtedly continued to take the industry by storm over the weekend. From florals to leather every fabric and pattern was presented in a unique and classic style.
