For the longest time, I thought Forest Essentials wasn’t a luxury brand. Until I discovered that it was. And although I am yet to use anything from their line, I continue to listen to great things. Their combination of Ayurveda and high end cosmetology has given insanely great results. As is the case with their new launch – a micellar spring water.

For the uninitiated, micellar water is the easiest way to remove your makeup. It contains small units of oil, which draw out impurities without drying out the skin. Likewise, this makes it a much better alternative to harsh wipes, face washes and what not.

While the name may be a mouthful, the product sure isn’t. The formulation includes effective Ayurveda skincare herbs. The following information is taken from the Forest Essentials Blog –

“According to the science of Ayurveda, 3 sub-doshas govern the the functioning of the skin –

  • Vyana Vata – controls circulation
  • Bhrajaka Pitta – governs the metabolic and biochemical activity of the skin
  • Shleshaka Kapha responsible for the balance of moisture.

The Micellar Spring Water balances these three to ensure harmonious functioning of the skin.”

The Cleansing Micellar Spring Water is a blend of pure Spring Water and steam distilled Rose Water. This alcohol-free formulation contains a particular root extract, renowned for its restorative and regenerative properties. Furthermore, the infusion of fresh Turmeric distillates help to purify the skin. With this carefully curated decoction, the skin is able to retain its natural oils. Moreover, it removes the accumulated dirt and maintains a balance of the skins moisture.

  • First, saturate a cotton pad with the Micellar Water
  • Then, lightly sweep over entire face to remove all impurities and makeup.
  • Additionally repeat for heavier make-up.
  • Rinse with water, if required.
