Brows are essential to a good makeup look. For real. You can’t be having a bomb eye shadow look and no bangin’ brows. It’s a travesty. And I don’t know what I’d been doing before 2017 – before brow mania took over. Because now, I CAN’T leave the house without making sure my brows are arched AF. I have very sparse brows, so I need my drawn on ones. I’ll go out sans foundation and everything, but my brows need to be A1. Otherwise, goodnight.

Up until now, there have been 2 products which I’ve dedicated my life to – Benefit Cosmetics’ Goof Proof Brow Pencil and the Ka Brow! I use them depending on how much time I have, and what look I’ll be repping throughout the day. But when it comes to pomades, buying the perfect one is tricky AF. It’s either the colour, the consistency, or the formula that throws you off.

But, however, there is one particular brow pomade doing the rounds. And everybody seems to be loving it. It’s the Maybelline Tattoo Studio Pomade. I’ve seen it/heard about it so many times that I think I want to set my trusty Ka Brow! aside, and check this out.

MAYBELLINE TATTOO STUDIO POMADE

The Tattoo Studio Pomade is a highly-pigmented and long-lasting waterproof formula that sculpts and creates natural looking eyebrows in three easy steps –

  • Outline
  • Fill in with buildable coverage
  • And finally, blend.

It’s designed to perfectly match your brow color and is formulated for long-lasting, waterproof wear. Maybelline’s matte brow pomade glides on for an evenly filled in effect. The dual-ended applicator gives you the ultimate control with its angled sculpting brush and spoolie for natural shading and blending. This long-lasting formula does not smudge and does not transfer for fool-proof wear that lasts for 24 hours.

And if my memory is right, this babe is 100% tried and tested water proof and smudge proof! The best part? It retails for ONLY $9.99!

There are 8 shades of the Maybelline Tattoo Studio Pomade. You can shop them here! Or pick them up from your local store. No word on when it’s coming to India though – bummer.
