Not all of us get our beauty sleep, or enough sleep for that matter, and some of us have genetically blessed Prada bags under our eyes – but thank the world for concealer. Helping us constantly fake it to make it, concealers are the most widely used products- whether to conceal the zit that popped up right before a big event, or to brighten up a dull day. And one concealer that is a staple in most bags is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind.
WHAT IT IS
Instant Age Rewind® Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer Makeup. The eye area appears radiant and refreshed in no time.
BENEFITS
This concealer for dark circles and fine lines instantly creates a radiant, refreshed looking eye area. Infused with goji berry and Haloxyl™.
HOW TO USE/APPLY
Step 1. Twist collar of the Micro-Corrector Applicator in the direction of arrows until the concealer is visible on the sponge (it may take some turns on first use).
Step 2. Using the applicator, apply concealer directly to the under-eye area, blending in an outward motion.
Step 3. For extreme dark circles, apply the Neutralizer shade under concealer shade.
Step 4. To add a luminous touch, apply the Brightener shade to the inner corner of eyes, cheek and brow bones and, bridge of the nose.
Even though the range was pretty limited when it first launched, the Instant Age Rewind now comes in 12 different shades. The packaging is pretty basic – a plastic twist tube with a sponge applicator. I always struggle with the twisting. I go from no product to twisting so much product out, its always a disaster. The product itself is of very thin consistency, but has pretty good medium to buildable full coverage. It also doesn’t settle into fine lines or crease.
The concealer lasts me a good 6-8 hours, without creasing under my eyes. It is also pretty lightweight, but it can be a little drying – nothing a good under eye cream can’t fix. (It isn’t as drying as the Tarte Shape Tape. Thank goodness!)
The Instant Age Rewind retails for INR 650, and is available online and in local stores.
