I always love to test new things out – I might not always have the money for it (duh), but that has never stopped me. So when Nykaa announced that Make Up Revolution’s coveted new Conceal and Define foundation was available, I did what I had to do. Instead of saving up, I spent my dolla dolla bills on purchasing the new foundation. Do I regret my buy? Read on to find out.
Revolution’s Conceal and Define concealer has been a favourite of artists globally in 2018. It was even compared to Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer – a cult favourite. But we all know that Tarte’s Shape Tape foundation really didn’t work all that well. But did the Makeup Revolution foundation have the same fate?

DETAILS
Makeup Revolution’s Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation offers lightweight yet buildable coverage in 24 skin-true shades.
This versatile foundation is designed to suit every skin type and tone.
With an oil-free yet creamy and comfortable formula that dries down to a long-lasting, demi-matte finish.
It won’t settle into fine lines or cling to dry patches.
Housed in a luxe glass bottle with a jumbo doe-foot applicator for greater control and less waste.
This foundation offers highly pigmented coverage that can be layered or diffused to suit your look.
Swipe on and blend out to ramp up the coverage for a “real skin” finish that diffuses blemishes and uneven skin tone. Or let your complexion’s natural character shine through using a small amount with a damp beauty sponge for veil-like coverage.

Benefits
- Vegan
- Cruelty Free
- Paraben Free
- Oil Free
First things first, LOVE the frosted glass bottle. Sure, it’s a travel hazard, but I grew intensely tired of high end brands giving us the plastic bottles. So, 50 points to Gryffindor!
Second, the Conceal & Define foundation HAS NOT COME TO PLAY! When they say full coverage, they mean full-flipping-coverage. I’m not the “let’s build foundation up” kinda gal. I like my one swipe application, and I’m good to go.
Let me be perfectly clear – I REMOVED most of the foundation from the sponge applicator and then applied what was left. I still looked flawless post application, that’s how serious this is.
The foundation has a dewy finish, so it won’t dry your skin out. Since I’m gravitating a lot towards natural looking makeup, the mattes can wait. Dewy it is for me. But it isn’t dewy to the point where you will start to look like a greased sponge.
I wore the Conceal & Define foundation for 5 hours and hunny it looked goooood! So you might as well give it a try. Find it on hokmakeup and Nykaa.
