MAC Cosmetics India have launched their new Powder Kiss Lipsticks exclusively Nykaa.com, and if you’re looking for a soft matte lipstick that is not too drying, you might want to get these.
There are 16 shades in the Powder Kiss line, from nudes to deeper shades, offering you the choice to go for either a natural makeup look, or full glam, depending on how you’re feeling.

Matte, totally reinvented. Delivering a romantic blur of soft-focus colour, M·A·C’s weightless moisture-matte Powder Kiss Lipstick was developed to replicate a backstage technique: blending out edges of matte lipstick for a hazy effect. Its groundbreaking formula contains moisture-coated powder pigments that condition and hydrate lips. The lipsticks do have a little bit of shine and slip, with the feel of a silicone primer, so you can’t call them “zero shine”. The pigmentation ranges from semi-opaque to opaque, with the lighter shades not applying evenly and having the tendency to accentuate dry lips. The darker shades from the Powder Kiss range apply better and are less likely to emphasize texture. They have a decent wear time, but do require reapplication. They also apply patchy, which is a tragedy.
There’s a slight disagreement over the scent of the lipstick. While some people find the scent quite disturbing, others don’t pick up anything at all. The scent does not linger for long post application, but the sweet taste of the Powder Kiss tends to stay.
