Finally the wait has come to the end. Lakme Fashion Week 2017 was all that you can’t miss if you are a fashion lover. You would have noticed the best of the efforts and creation of our designers. A week to see our bollywood celebrities in classy and royal fashion. You must have a look over this unique collection presented by fashion designers. Lakme fashion week is premier fashion event in India. Here are some of the highlights of the fashion week you shouldn’t miss and probably add them to your wardrobes with a touch of your style to it.
In keeping with their tradition, Day 1 of started off with the Gen Next show, which highlights upcoming talent in the country. The biggest highlight of the day was easily Sanjay Garg’s presentation. Garg’s collection ‘Cloud People’ which explored themes of cupids. The second day was dedicated to the cause of conscious fashion and was aptly titled Sustainable Fashion Day. Each design label was paired off with a master craftsmen to create work that highlighted laborious crafts of India that with a modern identity. The collection was about romantic and sexy looks.
Ekà’s Rina Singh was looking at unfinished works of art, “infinto aesthetic’’. Amit Aggarwal’s show this season was presented by Monaco Tourism. Rahul Mishra went back to his roots of subtle Chanderi that’s going to be a sure hit this festive season. Vaani Kapoor brought the show to a dramatic close in a fiery crimson lehenga for Paras Modi. Ujjwal Dubey experimented with white black and soft shades like dusty pink. Manish Arora collection was all about ‘Cosmic Love’. With a quirky collection drenched in a variety of vibrant colors Manish Malhotra showcased his collection in grand finale.
