Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories, will launch in September for shoppers in nearly a dozen countries, including the United States, Germany and Japan.
Fans who are waiting for Lady Gaga to rule over the beauty world only have to wait a bit longer. Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories will become the first major cosmetics brand to be launched by the online retail giant. Fans will be able to get the line with two-day shipping. As it will be the first major beauty brand to launch exclusively on Amazon, which Gaga credits with giving her full creative control. The products will also be available on Haus Labs’ own website when the line launches in September.
“They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But at Haus Laboratories, we say beauty is how you see yourself.”- said Gaga in a video released on her Instagram.
“The last thing the world needs is another beauty brand, but that’s too bad,”- Gaga says in the video. The video features the superstar dancing with a crowd of downtown-cool models of various gender expressions wearing metallic makeup looks. She announced the news on Tuesday on her Instagram via a video post.
In an exclusive interview with Business of Fashion, the singer revealed that the collection will include makeup kits that combine lip gloss, lip liner, and all-over color. There’s no word on pricing or how many kits will be available just yet, but Haus Laboratories will be found exclusively on Amazon. The singer has been dropping hints of a makeup line for over an year. First trademarking the name back in February 2018. Earlier this week, the brand’s Instagram account @hauslabs published what seemed to be promotional photos of Gaga wearing the makeup.
For Gaga enthusiasts who simply cannot wait until summer is over, there is good news! The products are available for pre-order on the Haus Laboratories site on July 15th at 12 a.m. EST.
