When I first saw the images of Kim Kardashian’s upcoming collaboration, I legitimately thought I was seeing double. It was after my eye caught the smize and the signature vitiligo, did I realise, “Oh sh*t, it’s Winnie Harlow!” Even then, my dumb ass exhausted brain thought that maybe Harlow was simply a face for the campaign. Boy, was I wrong.
We’re past mid-2019, and of all the alliances we’ve seen come and go at this point, this one stands out for me. Maybe because I’d never imagined that a brand like KKW Beauty would invite top tier model Winnie Harlow to create a line with. Campaign face? Sure. But curating an entire beauty line? Kim Kardashian West has left me flabbergasted again! (In a good way, that’s for sure!)
KKW x WINNIE
I love Winnie Harlow. To be so accepting and proud of one’s self is something I am yet to achieve. And then we see Harlow, who does the whole self-love with so much fierceness and confidence, it can leave one to tears.
The KKW x Winnie collection features a 12-pan shadow palette, a highlighter duo and lip glosses. And they’re all packaged in a GORGEOUS bronze gold theme. The artwork on the cartons, however, is something out of a fashion magazine.
Speaking on the alliance, Misz West states that she has a ton of respect and admiration for Harlow. (same boat, Madam K) Furthermore, she also says that Winnie is “the definition of true beauty.”
