I am the kind of person who HAS to moisturize after a shower, otherwise I’ll be dry and itchy all day long. But sometimes, I don’t want to take the extra 5 minutes to pump out cream and apply – it’s just too much work. So when you’ve hit that wall, or basically don’t want to go the extra mile for super soft skin – don’t worry, I got you covered!
DIY SUPER SOFT SKIN
All you need for this super easy lazy girl DIY is an oil of your liking. Coconut oil is the oil of choice for most people. Olive oil, Johnson’s baby oil, or any other beauty oil will do. Because I understand that the entire process of a body scrub + wash + moisturizer can get a little overwhelming. So for those days, or let’s be real, any day, this will work for you.
The idea behind this is that a hot shower or a bath makes your skin extremely porous. Hence, when you apply to wet skin, it’s able to seep down and lock in all the moisture. You’ll notice that you’ll require way less body oil as opposed to dry skin. AND you get a much more effective and speedy application, sans the greasiness.

HOW DO YOU DO IT?
Once you’re done showering, apply your oil. You can either get out of the shower at this point, or just take a quick little dip after. Gently pat yourself dry, and admire your super soft, super healthy looking skin.
If taking a bath is more up your alley, simply add a few tablespoons of your favourite oil after you’ve washed and soak up the goodness.
Give this a try, and I promise you, you won’t regret it.
