All the designers are eager to showcase their talent in the best of the ways. Couture week is celebrating its tenth year. The festivities will last for a week with a dazzling line up. The event will be held from 24 to 30 July 2017 at the Taj Palace hotel. You must see all unique and amazing designs.
Sunil Sethi president of FDCI, said, “The most interesting part is that our couturiers have influenced the evolution of the luxury consumer. They have not just been revivalists, but also innovators. Our embroideries and hand crafts have found a place on the world map. It is imperative to promote the ‘Make in India’ endeavour. We hope to create a new language with high definition of glamour through our celebrations.”
Some of the best Indian designers like Anamika khanna, Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra will show their talents. The fashion design council of India decided to start the show with Anamika and Rohit Bal’s collection. The label Anamika Khanna is synonymous with superlative crafts and no one knows the power of detailing better than the doyen of Kolkata. The name with a perfect match to the collection is “Luxury 2017”.
Classic and immaculate embroideries of Rohit Bal. His collection ‘Khush Posh’ is heritage pieces from royal Mughals. The collection highlights an amalgamation of traditional craft with modern sensibilities preserving its timeless beauty. The week will end by showcasing the best collection of Manish Malhotra. The showcase will be a stellar experience that is befitting these milestones and will present Manish Malhotra Label’s new design direction through the lens of Couture.
