“A Gucci Hallucination, the Spring Summer 2018 campaign imagines paintings that feature imagery from classic artworks with characters dressed in the collection’s colourful and printed designs by Alessandro Michele. Describing the paint colours used in his works it’s an ironic twist on the reality: all of the illustrations were created digitally. ” the brand shared about this campaign. With no limits to the fantasy that can be created with illustrations, the images take us on a journey through the three elements earth, sea and sky. One minute you’ll be submerged in the sea with sheer dresses that end in mermaid tails and the next floating above the clouds.
