2018 has been a big year for Huda Beauty – the brand dropped product after product, literally forcing consumers to spend all of their money on their well hyped stuff. The Rose Gold remastered, the Precious Stones collection, the Baking Powders (that was one controversial campaign!), the Demi Mattes, the Overachiever concealers and now, the New Nude Palette, set to launch on November 1st.
Huda started teasing the palette towards the end of September on her Instagram, and ofcourse, the Internet went into a frenzy. Somehow, there’s this magical ability in Huda’s launches, a certain razzmatazz, if I may say so myself, that even the most stoic of enthusiasts are attracted to her line like bees to flowers. You can’t hold yourself back from it!

Just yesterday, the queen dropped swatches of her upcoming palette and also a mini tutorial. And it’s definitely a treat to look at! Huda always aces it with her promotions, which is why her brand is a top seller worldwide. (Except for that Baking Powder promo, that was a total bust!)

The New Nude palette is a mix of warm and cool tones, creating the “absolute BEST mix”. There is also a brand new formula, created with iridescent chunks that Huda says will give you “the most unique, most STUNNING pigmentation you will ever see.”
The formulae are as follows (taken from Huda’s blog)-
4 Multi-Reflective Shades: I’m so obsessed with this formula, it’s so smooth and has these stunning flecks of different pearls, which blend to give a highly reflective, duo-chromatic shine. For a more subtle finish, you can apply these with a brush over mattes, or if you really want to glow, you can use them alone.
10 Matte Eyeshadows: These velvety smooth, saturated shades are specially formulated with Aloe Vera and Coconut Oil for butter-like application and easy blendability.
2 Glitters: I’m so in love with this new glitter formula that glides on like a pearl formula and has the hypnotic reflection of bright glitters. Pack these on to the lid with a dense brush for insane sparkle.
1 Pressed Pearl: We combined pressed pearls in a stunning rose copper shade with Acacia, Jojoba, and Sunflower Wax to create a creamy, high-shimmer finish.
1 Concealer Base: I can’t wait for you guys to try Concealed, our creamy concealer that creates the perfect canvas for eyeshadows and helps to boost eyeshadow intensity. It’s also perfect for cutting the crease.
If you see the swatches, you’ll want to buy that palette in the first stock. I skipped the Rose Gold Remastered on purpose because, honestly, I didn’t think it was worth the price point and I also didn’t understand the purpose of relaunching something. If you weren’t entirely happy with how it turned out the first time, you should have just not launched it altogether.
