Gaurav Gupta has already built his fashion empire making the ladies go weak in the knees with his womenswear. And just to go mad over his collection, Gaurav Gupta Newly Launched Flagship Store at the capital of the country has made every shopaholic women go excited about the store. “It’s not a store but a surreal maze that celebrates architecture, sculpture and beauty. Gaurav Gupta was instantly recognised as ‘Future of Couture’ by Altaroma Altamoda. This served as a clear sign toward the direction he would be taking to emerge, ten years later, as one of the strongest voices in couture and fashion from India. The designer never stopped his steps in his experiences of working. After working with Hussein Chalayan, of being the youngest jury member at Mittelmoda and receiving various awards for his noticeable debut in Japan, Russia and India, helped shape his ideas.

The store is split into five rooms with different themes, each carries the common thread of Gupta’s love for fantasy and drama. Newly launched 5000 sq. ft flagship store is in Delhi’s burgeoning fashion hotspot, Mehrauli at the Qutub. The store also carries Gupta’s new line of men’s occasion wear – sherwanis, bandhgalas and bundis that are devoid of the OTT embellishment. Some Bollywood celebrities graced their presence at the lunch event.
“As soon as you enter the store you take a lead towards a dreamy space. The Prism room is made of mirrors with light bouncing off all sides, the Sculpt room is a mini-museum for our iconic sculptural garments collected over the last decade or so. Also on offer is a space dedicated to couture and customisation.” said the designer.
