Kareena Kapoor Khan looked like a dazzling bride as she turned showstopper for the designers in an exquisite gold lehenga. Kareena’s ensemble comprised a voluminous, crystal work embedded A-line lehenga with a matching full-sleeved choli with a plunging neckline and a shimmery nude dupatta with feathery flourishes. The head-to-toe gold look was full of whimsy and romance with a hint of sexiness. The entire collection was a mix and match of feather embellishments, cascading feather trains, feather cuffs, sheer fabric, styles boasting backlines, plunging necklines and unexpected cutout which made each and every outfit breathtaking.
“We have drawn our inspiration from a tale in which a Parisian queen is invited to the resplendent Junagarh Palace in Rajasthan, which is known for its meticulous architecture and grandeur. A mela is orchestrated in the honour of the queen, who is left mesmerised by the majestic and royal nature of the occasion,” said the designers.
