Deepika Padukone is also set to turn heads this year. She made quite the entrance at the Rocketman premiere in the biggest gown the red carpet has seen so far.

Just when you think red carpet season is over, major award shows fading into the not-so-distant past, May revs things back up again with events like the Met Gala and, of course, the nearly 10-day-long Cannes Film Festival.

Dozens of films are slated to be screened, which means even more actors gracing the red carpet with hair and makeup looks we’ll be talking about for weeks — and very likely emulating, too.

Day-1

After rocking a sugary pink Zac Posen gown at the Met Gala last week, Deepika Padukone made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival hitting us with not one but two killer red carpet looks back-to-back.

Who says you have to choose between a bold hairstyle and bold makeup…and bold shoulders? Definitely not Deepika Padukone, who arrived on the Cannes red carpet in a voluminous white gown, super-high ponytail, and awe-inspiring black liner along her lower lash line that was winged both outward and inward.

Deepika’s third look was a sheer white lace top which the actress paired with matching bracelet and striped Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini pants. It was a complete boho-chic kinda look.

The actress completed her day with the fourth look which was a red and yellow floral gown with a single sleeve. The dramatic black bow around her neck provided the accent in the get up. With minimal eye make-up and a top-knot, Deepika completed the look.

The actress  walked the red carpet in a lime green Giambattista Valli ruffled gown with a train. Deepika teamed the look with a low bun and a baby pink headband. She was attending the screening of Dolor Y Gloria (Pain and Glory).

All we can say about her all the looks is that, Ranveer Singh is not only the one who can’t stop drooling over her appearances.
