Cartier and Net-a-Porter Are Bringing Back This Iconic 80’s watch

Cartier Panthère is a new collection of it’s old iconic 80’s watch. The luxury watch is considered the high end luxury watch brand as ‘Jewellery first, timepiece second.’ A square face and link bracelet in a classic Cartier design, the new Panthère collection features 12 watches in different colors – inspired by the spotted panther motif, the new watches come in rose gold and black lacquer as well as a striking white gold and with or without diamonds. With prices ranging from $4,000 to $123,000; these luxury timepieces will be available on net-a-porter.com for a limited period of one month, from May 2 to May 31.

“ We are honored to be partnering with Cartier to launch the Panthère watch,” said Alison Leohnis, president of Net-A-Porter. Cartier has partnered with Net-A-porter for its first ever pop-up store on the luxury shopping site. Federico Marchetti, founder and CEO of Net-A-Porter Group said in a press statement “ I am delighted that Cartier has chosen Yoox Net-A-Porter Group as its first online retail partner to sell the Panthère watch.”

You can now vamp up your glamour quotient and choose to be on the wait list of the launch to get a hold on one of these high-end luxury watches. Unfortunately this isn’t a unisex offering and it seems like 2017 is all about the girls, with the re-launch of the 1980s Panthère. The high profile model Georgia Fowler is fronting the campaign.
