When it’s a brand’s ethos to reject the no-makeup makeup façade, and embrace a full blown beat, you can’t expect anything less than extraordinary. That’s what Il Makiage is all about. The company rebranded itself last year and relaunched in the US.

Earlier last month, Il Makiage set up it’s website for the purpose of online retail therapy. According to a press release, the idea is to “fix the current disconnected consumer journey.” They created a platform that would suggest products to users based on inspiration photos. Customers would be able to swipe left or right (similar to Tinder or other dating apps) to choose what they like and dislike, which would connect them to looks and products geared toward their interests. Furthermore, they will also be given a 14-day trial to sample products before purchasing.

This collection is exciting for two major reasons –

  1. Bybel doesn’t plaster her name on just anything. She’s very specific about who she chooses to work with. And Il Makiage and their idea of maximalism is perfect for the YouTuber.
  2. The collaboration is a set of galaxy-themed lip products – nice.

The beauty guru posted a very ecstatically captioned photo on her socials, when she revealed the alliance.
