The future King of England became a grandfather for the 4th time back in May. Little baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor had his christening yesterday in a private ceremony. He is currently 2 months old. Parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opted to keep the event private, and didn’t even reveal who the Godparents were. However, they did release official images on their socials later – and we can’t stop looking at them.
The official photos include a bunch of people seated together with the parents of the hour in the centre. The exception, although, is the absence of Her Majesty The Queen and Prince Philip. Due to a diary clash, they stayed back in Sandringham for duties.
In the photo taken by Chris Allerton, you can see both parents and baby Archie seated in the centre. Surrounding them are Grandpa Charles, Grandma Camila, other grandma Doria Ragland, Uncle William, Aunt Kate, and Prince Harry’s maternal aunts (2 surviving sisters of the late Princess Diana)

In another photo, you can see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex doting over their sleeping bundle of joy – and it’s a beautiful picture. Baby Archie looks a lot like his father, and he’s super cute! Archie was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening gown which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841. This was first worn by her eldest daughter. The Queen commissioned this handmade replica in 2004, in order for the fragile historic outfit to be preserved, and for the tradition to continue.
But let’s take a look at the royal fashion, shall we?
HRH DUCHESS OF SUSSEX, MEGHAN MARKLE
Meghan Markle wears custom Dior and a fascinator that reminds us of Kate’s outfit during Princess Charlotte’s christening. She’s also seen wearing her Cartier earrings – the ones she wore at her wedding to Prince Harry. She’s fresh and beaming, and in conclusion, gorgeous.

HRH DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE, KATE MIDDLETON
Don’t get me wrong, Meghan looks stunning. But Kate stole the spotlight in her Stella McCartney outfit. Donning a matching braid-style Juliette Millinery pillbox hat and Gianvito Rossi heels, the royal looked every bit the fashionista. The sweetest touch, however, is the pair of Collingwood earrings, the ones that belonged to the late Princess Diana.

Royal events are certainly exciting, but royal fashion is where the game’s at!
