Arpita Mehra Summer Collection 2018 is a reinvention of embroideries and an experiment with  bohemian soul

To create something magical every designer needs an inspiration. Arpita Mehta is a renowned fashion designer from Mumbai whose journey was encouraged from her early days when her inspirations were signature styles adorned by her mother and grandmother. As her mother and grandmother played with dresses, this cultivated a passion for crafting ensembles that are simply unique. Her brand talks about understated yet glamorous style, a seamless blend of the ethnic and contemporary extravaganza that enhances the feminine silhouette. But this time the designer wanted to take a fresh step with a different experiment. Arpita Mehra Summer Collection 2018 is a reinvention of embroideries and an experiment with bohemian soul. Just scroll our gallery and check some of the best designs.

Designer words for her this collection “The entire collection is a translation of my definition of new-age femininity, which is free-spirited, fearless and sensual. We have given the slip dress our own spin. Ours can be worn with a cape or a jacket for your best friend’s Mehandi or as is for a pool party. Each piece is extremely easy to wear. Embroidery has always been an important part of the brand’s DNA. We have retained the mirror work but reinvented it in a different and subtle manner. You will notice a lot of thread embroidery with a mix of Kaduna and mirrors, ensuring that each piece is a true Arpita Mehta signature.”

All the pairings are stunning and they are versatile. The line features tulip skirts paired with bralettes and ruffled jackets, as well as the brand’s classic palazzos in variations like tiered ruffles and modern shararas. Each and every piece of her collection is ready to wear and easy when you carry it. Time to try this stunning reinvention of creativity.
