Quick eyeshadow is a blessing in disguise. Especially when you are the kind of person who wants to look their beat best when stepping out of the house. And to make our lives so much easier, the queen Huda Kattan bestowed us with the Matte & Metal Melted Shadows.
With the initial shades becoming massive successes, we now have a round two.
“When we created this product, we really wanted it to be your key tool that would allow you to be more creative and have fun without rules.” You got that right, Huda.
The formula of the Matte & Metal Melted Shadows last all day long, and are super easy to manoeuvre. But you best be quick! The mattes have a tendency to dry down fast – use your fingers or blend it out with a brush as you please.
As mentioned earlier, Huda’s inspiration for the Matte & Metal were ‘gliteratti’ and the decadent lifestyles of It-girls and the Insta-glam squad. Hence, bold and boujee. And round 2 is a little more than round 1.
Minted & Dinero – Make it rain! A bright mint matte paired to platinum perfection with a universally flattering silvery mint glitter.
Wednesday & Froyo – Unapologetically girly, a popping pink and silvery pink glitter combo.
Room Service & Do Not Disturb – This rich terracotta brown matte paired with a rose gold glitter looks way too gorgeous just to stay in and dial room service.
Limelight & Gold Chains – Not for the fainthearted, this bold lime-tinged yellow matte and golden shimmer make the ultimate statement.
Double Pump Latte & Drop Top – For those who shine even in the shade! We’re obsessed with this sexy tan matte and glossy bronze shimmer combo.
Now I’m not a sucker for hypes, but when my favourite make-up artists tell me something is legit, I buy it – no questions asked. And so far, I’ve received pretty positive reviews for these. So I’m definitely picking up a few of these. (Thanks, Nilo Haq!)
All the new Matte & Metal shades will be available for purchase on February 12th.
